West Coast Amusements operates one of the largest and best-equipped Winter Quarters in Western Canada in order to maintain and repair our amusement rides and show vehicles to the very highest standards.
 

Safety - The First and Foremost Concern On Our Midway
We attend all amusement ride safety seminars and certify all employees to operate the amusement rides. All of our amusement rides and vehicles are Provincial Government inspected, approved and licensed by the Elevating Devices Divisions of each Province.

Every ride, trailer and truck goes through the maintenance program at our Winter Quarters in Langley, BC. The fully staffed winter maintenance program begins in October and runs in full swing until the end of March. The original equipment manufacturer often does major overhauls but we provide comprehensive mechanical, electrical, painting, body repair and woodworking services.

In addition to the annual and daily maintenance and inspections, our equipment is subject to various non-destructive tests including Ultra Sound Testing, Magnaflux Particle Testing and other X-Ray tests of the hidden components.

Our well-trained staff and supervisors inspect each ride and must report with their daily inspection checklists to the Safety Coordinator every day prior to opening.

We make sure that every attraction has signage that clearly state the precautions of the ride and every ride is outfitted with the best safety restraints and devices.

We carry comprehensive liability insurance of $10,000,000 and we will additionally co-name insure on our policy.

Our food service trailers are clean, modern food stands, which are inspected weekly by Government Health Inspectors, and we have received comments on how the trailers are so much cleaner and organized than most restaurants.
